I want  to present groups of photographs to the viewers: not a random selection.  The black and white portfolios are representative examples from the three longest and most demanding “assignments” I have undertaken, Indianapolis, Indiana (“Waking Up in Naptown”); San Francisco, California (“Remembering the Alamo Square”); and black and white studies of form, shape, and texture (“American Studies”).  As to the color portfolio: I have always believed the primary subject of color photography is color.  I call this portfolio “After Painting.”
